Camping Out

Xander spent the night with us because his little brother, Marley, was having tubes put in his ears. The little guy did great! We decided to camp out in the living room...we roasted marshmallows in the fireplace and put up our little tent in the living room. Ryan, Bec, Levi and Xander all watched a movie from inside the tent. It was a great camping trip! Can't wait for warmer weather so we can really go camping!

Funny Noises

Levi has discovered how to make funny noises with his mouth...

New Years 2010

We had a great New Years! Jackie, Romi and all the kids came over to open presents, have dinner and pop off some fireworks. Xander watched from inside the house while Bec and Christian did most of the lighting. Marley wasn’t bothered by them at all…in fact, he fell asleep during them... again, just like on July 4th! Levi came out to watch the early spectacle for a while and then went to bed. We came back out at midnight for the finale and to watch all the neighbors’ fireworks. Our neighborhood was going crazy! It really was a good time!

Here's to an amazing 2011!

Christmas 2010 - Texas

Levi's First Christmas!

We spent Christmas with Granny and PaPa and the family in Houston. It was great to have all 3 of the boys together…Ethan, Chance and Levi.  Santa was very good to them and we really enjoyed getting to spend Christmas with so many family and friends. Levi fell back asleep at the beginning of opening presents and didn’t wake up till we were done, but we were thankful to get a few good pics of him with his toys and cousins.

A few days after Christmas, Grandpa and Grandma Kohrs came for a visit. We spend a day down on the River Walk, having lunch and enjoying the great weather. We also went to Alamo Square and walked through some of the shops and went to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! And the Wax Museum. Levi was again, such a tropper and didn’t mind being dragged all over the place. He finally pooped out at the Wax Museum….

Kansas - Thanksgiving 2010

We made our first trip to Kansas the week of Thanksgiving. It only took 13 hours to get there, which wasn’t as bad as we thought it might be.

Levi got to meet his cousins – Riley, Timmy, Patrick and Taylor – his Aunt Steph and Uncles Jim and Kaleb and lots of other family members. Levi found Kaleb’s coyote calls very interesting and tried to mimic the sounds. He had so much fun with Taylor and the other kiddos.

We spent Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Kohrs'.

We also got to play with some of the farm “toys” and really had a blast!

Since we weren’t going to be able to make another trip in December, we celebrated Christmas a little early! Levi can’t wait to ride his new rocking horse all by himself!

We had such a great time and we can't wait to come up again soon...
