Fiesta Parade

Levi had his first school event this morning....a Fiesta Parade...the festival starts this weekend. It was so much fun! Each class had
a separate theme and costume.

Levi was a Dalmatian

Marley was a Crayon

Xander was a Confetti Egg

What proud parent's we are!

Oh! Last night, we discovered Levi is getting his first tooth!
My baby is growing way too fast!

Bug Scuffle Ranch

We went to the Hill Country Shootout at Bug Scuffle Ranch in Vanderpool on
April 9th. We hung out with Zach and his family - check out Sarrel's Archery!

Levi and I walked with the guys while they shot their bows and I even got to
do some target practice. It really was one of the best weekend outings
we've had as a family. We are definitely taking up bow hunting
as our new family hobby...we can't wait for Levi to
grow up so we can teach him!
Levi was such a happy camper the entire time! With only 1 nap that whole day, I kept waiting for a breakdown...but nope, my lil man was great!

What a cheese ball!

Levi has a new smile! It started at the end of March. Every time we get out the camera and start taking pictures, he leans his head back, squints his
eyes and nose, and tries to smile really big....it's more of a funny face
rather than a smile. But he has learned to smile for the camera!
It is too friggin' cute! It cracks us up every time. Now he does it
when we smile at him or walk into the room.

First River Trip

We took Levi to the river for the first time in March. Of course, he loved being outdoors, just like Mommy and Daddy! It was too cold for swimming but he was too cute getting his feet in the river.

Nacogdoches

Levi, Ryan and I went to Nacogdoches with my family to lay my Grandma to rest next to Grandpa. Although it was a sad time, it was also great to see the family! We really did have a great weekend get-a-way.
The Kids...Aunt Pam, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Barb and Dad
The Grandkids...Rachel, Leslie, Jessica, Bec, and Ryan (missing Jarod)
Ryan graduated from SFA and gave a tour of the campus...

Family Fun

I know I have been awful about keeping up with the blog...especially when Levi is constantly changing and learning new things. Promise I will try to be better in posting lots and lots of pics!

Levi learned how to sit up all by himself at 5 months!

He was playing with his toys a lot more and pulling himself by 6.5 months!
Levi LOVES being outside! If he is crying or not feeling well, we just plop him in the stroller and head out for a walk.
See....he likes to be outdoors so much that he
tried to escape out the back door!
